My favorite game ever
Dark Castle and Beyond Dark Castle.
I played these hot games on Macintosh 512Ke with sister since my childhood. As we were little, we couldn’t control the mouse and keyboard at the same time. So we played the game cooperatively — I threw the rocks and my sister controlled the movement of Duncon. That’s also amazing.
See how vividly the game shows at its beginning! These good old days, right? I cannot imagine how to make a game such wonderful without 3D or million of colors. Don’t forget the awesome (awful) sound effect! It played a lot of funny sound smoothly on a 20-years-ago computer. Quite amazing.
